Writing Workshop – A Time I Got Lost

29th September 2010 By Susan Mann 6 Comments

This is my entry for the lovely Josie’s Writing Workshop over at Sleep is for the Weak.

I chose “A Time I Got Lost” from her list of prompts. I am going with a poem. Hope you like it.

A Time I Got Lost

I look left,
I look right,
I look left,
I look right,
I spin around.
My stomach drops,
Panic sets in,
Where is my mummy?
Where is my mummy?
The tears start to fall.
Strangers everywhere stare,
No faces I recognise,
I sink to the floor,
Sobbing,
Arms close around me.
I am found….
Hope you enjoyed my poem, why not check out the rest of the entries over at Sleep is for the weak.
