Product Review – Olay Total Effects Wake Up Wonder Moisturiser

1st September 2010 By Susan Mann 8 Comments

Description: Olay Total Effects Wake up Wonder is a lightweight anti-aging moisturiser providing 7 anti-aging effects in 1 product, to wake up your creased, tired looking skin. This is thanks to its new lightweight formula with mint extract.
Olay Total Effects Wake Up Wonder has a new lightweight formula to address the first signs of ageing with 7 age defying effects to wake up creased tired looking skin.
What it does:
1.Line minimisation
2.Hydration
3.Firming
4.Improves Dullness
5.Gentle Exfoliation
6.Minimises Pore appearance
7.Anti-oxidant to prevent free radical damage
How it Does it:
Incorporating effective levels of cooling moisture with an intense anti-ageing complex of Vitamin B3, Pro-Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E, the multi-tasking formula of Olay Total Effects Wake Up Wonder works on 7 signs of ageing because it helps skin re-awaken from the skin dryness cycle.
■Instantly and for 24 hours: the formula with Olay Hydrating Moisture, and mint extract, boosts moisture levels to re-awaken skin with cooling refreshment
■In 1 week: the formula with VitaNiacin complex (with Vitamin B3, ProVitamin B5 and Vitamin E) helps enhance the rate of surface skin cell turnover to reveal fresher looking, more youthful skin
■In 1 month the formula with Vitamin B3 supports skin’s natural lipid levels which helps strengthen and restore the skin’s moisture barrier to lock in moisture. At the same time, skin’s natural emollients, NMFs (natural moisturising factors), are restored so skin feels softer.
How to Use:
Dispense a hazelnut size of total effects Wake Up Wonder on your palms and briefly smooth between them. Apply evenly across face and also covering your neck. Dermatologically tested.
Review: I LOVE this moisturiser, I really really do. I cannot praise it enough. I have grown up with a mother and grandmother who both took and take great care of their skin, and have had the cleanse, tone and moisturise drummed into me from an early age. I have combination skin, so finding the correct moisturiser can be tough. If it’s too rich, my skin can go greasy and come out in more spots than I already get. If I use a spot or oil control moisturiser it can go dry. I tried this one, within a few days by skin was brighter, smoother and the slight scaring on my skin is visibly better. Even my hubby, let’s face it they don’t notice anything said “oh your skin looks brighter”.  You could have knocked me over with a feather.
The smell and texture of this is a delight so soft, easy to use and the smell is soothing. I didn’t expect this, but I will use nothing else. Go buy and try, you’ll love it.
Thank you so much to Olay for allowing me to try this product.

Sounds like a good one I'll have to try it. I have the same problem with moisturizer. My skin gets oily so its hard to find a good moisturizer.
