This is my entry for the lovely Josie’s Writing Workshop over at Sleep is for the Weak.
I went with the prompt “Storm”. I’m going for another poem, not sure I am any good at it or even doing it right, if there is a right or a wrong way but I am quite enjoying it. So here you go, hope you enjoy it too….
Storm
Grey starts to roll in.
Darker the world becomes.
The air all around me feels electric.
Feels alive.
The heavens open.
The world is covered in rain.
Bubbles appear and disapear with the huge drops.
Twisting, the wind’s ever turning.
The air becomes more intense.
Anticipation mounts.
The rumblings begin.
Thunder and lightning are crashing and fighting it out.
Hope you enjoyed my poem, why not check out the rest of the entries over at Sleep is for the weak.
