Miss Bohemia – Handmade Jewellery

21st May 2010 By Susan Mann 27 Comments

Miss Bohemia is a lovely lady called Jennifer, who creates the most amazing jewellery. I was so impressed by the ring and handbag charm I got from her shop, that I asked her if I could do a blog post on her to show everyone else how great she is. Not only that but she offered my readers a chance to win one of her pieces and a discount at her shop.

This is what I bought, they are some and go very well with my red jacket and handbag. She was so nice she sent me lovely red earrings to match just because. How nice is that?
She is a dreamer, has a vivid imagination and obsession with books, which she uses as a form of escapism. To which I can relate. There is nothing better than curling up in bed with a good book and letting the worries of life slip away, for a short time anyway.
Her jewellery is inspired by what she reads, watches and the world around her. She is one talented and imaginative woman.
She has a beautiful Alice in Wonderland collection, which is very popular at the moment with the release of Tim Burton’s amazing version of it.
She describes this one as a gorgeous kitsch and cute Alice in Wonderland bracelet with candy colours pink and blue theme. The bracelet holds the following silver plated charms;- teacup and saucer, teabag, teapot charm, Ace card, cupcake charm and key charm. The charms represent different aspects of Alice in Wonderland and her journey down the rabbit hole. The bracelet can be fastened with the heart clasp and toggle. Includes sealed images of Alice, the Mad Hatter and the white rabbit.
I love the fairytale-inspired pieces, reminds me of my childhood but you can wear them in adulthood. She has a gorgeous Snow White and Rose Red piece, which was one of my favourite fairy tales as a child.
Miss Bohemia describes her jewellery as an eclectic mix as they are often inspired by my alternate reality and love of magic, dark fairytales, supernatural, fantasy and steampunk! I love using deep reds, purples, emerald greens and black for my gothic pieces, but I often make romantic and vintage jewellery too – a bit of everything!
This is next on my list. This is her ‘New Moon’ creation which was inspired by ‘wolves howling at the moon’! The ring has a luminous glow to it and reminds me of the moon, which represents many things including myths (moon lore) and legends! The ring has a double stranded design and a silver border surrounding a gorgeous round faux luminous moonstone (the diameter is 12mm). This ring is adjustable so will fit a range of ring sizes.

Miss Bohemia kindly offered my readers to win their very own Under a Vampire Spell Bag Charm. The same as the one I bought in the picture above.

To enter all you have to do is follow my blog and leave a comment on this post. I will pick a name using Random.org form the list of comments on 28th May. I will email the winner. Thank you, Miss Bohemia and Good Luck.
