Goochicoo Doll

4th May 2010 By Susan Mann 2 Comments

I entered a competition on the fantastic Goochicoo Blog by commenting on what I would like to have known before becomming a parent.

I said “One thing I wish I had known was that I would leave the house with baby vom, crayon & playdoh on my trousers and there was nothing I could do about it as you don’t notice until you have been out for over half an hour. Also, babies cry a lot!!”

Amazingly I won. I was so excited as I love the whole Goochicoo Range. I did my nursery in the izziwotnot boy range when I had baby number two. I think their range is unusual, sweet and funny. It makes me smile every time I look at it.
The doll we got sent was Little Star, she is so sweet. She comes with a dummy, a bottle and a microphone. She likes to play peepo, drinks, slurps, hiccups, burps, giggles when tickled and snore when they are asleep. But her unique quality compared to the other Goochicoo dolls is that she sings when the microphone is placed to her mouth. She sings like a little tot who is just trying to make sounds, it’s so cute.
Everything is magnetic so very simple to use, from the youngest to the oldest toddler.
As soon as I opened the box my 15-month-old Tyler was right over. Here are a few pictures of him with what is now his baby.
Tyler loves this doll and I can’t recommend them enough for other mothers and fathers looking for something a bit different for their child.
Thank Goochicoo from both Tyler and myself.
