How on earth did we get to October, nearly Halloween already? I love Halloween and looking forward to helping at the school activity day and our family one at my sister in laws. What do you do for Halloween?
I am getting a bit better with these posts as it’s only been a month since my last one. We have been having some fun outdoors with the lovely dry, crisp autumn weather, working and school. What about you?
The funny things the kids say posts are by far my favourite and I love to record them to look back on. When I got back and read through my older ones, the never fail to make me smile. I wanted to share all the funny things the kids have said recently, and hope the make you smile, like the ones I have shared in the past, the funny things my kids say, Zumberzella Edition and funny toddlers things. What is your favourite types of posts?
Tyler was looking at the photos on the wall of them when they were younger and babies:
Tyler:- “That photo looks like Lucas in the olden days.” Yup, a black and white photo.
When watching Aria’s current favourite film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs:
Tyler:- “Where are those gnome guys?”
Me:- “You mean the Dwarfs?”
Tyler:- “Yeah, where’s the crabby dude?”
Aria and I were snuggling down to watch some cbeebies and she kept asking for Ben bunny. I had no idea, but you know how stubborn threenagers can be?
Aria:- “I want to watch Ben Bunny?”
Me:- “Peter Rabbit?”
Aria:- “No Ben Bunny?”
Me:- “Can you tell me more about it?”
Aria:- “Ben Bunny, the black bunny.”
Me:- After an hour of searching and questions later; “Bing.”
Aria:- “Yes, that’s Ben Bunny.”
I like to record the funny things they have for other things.
Lucas:- “That’s the squid, he’s the cooker.”
Me:- “You mean a chef?”
Tyler:- “Aria is wearing her Muffin ears.” – ear muffs
Aria:- “Can’t wait to stay in the Hal Hotel.” – Hotel.
No matter what we say she still calls a hotel a “Hal hotel”, it is so cute and I hope she always says it. Then there is “Hillo” for hills. Super cute.
Then there is my favourite “My foot is starving. I need to feed it.” Aria says this anytime she has pins and needles.
And I’ll leave you with Aria’s wise words of wisdom for when you are indecisive, which I am often:-
“You’re always mixing your mind out.”
I love recording the funny things my children say. These are the little snippets of memories I probably won’t remember as they grow and change. Like I said before when I read back, these are the posts that make me smile most and the ones I want to hold on to the memories. They do make you laugh don’t they? I’d love to know what funny things your children have said? Do leave them in the comments below or a link to your post and I’ll stop by and have a wee read.
For now I’ll leave you here, it’s Friday and we are on our last day of half term and it’s my twin nieces 10th birthday. How did they get to 10 already? The boys are doing a couple of activities with the girls and football and dancing for Tyler and Aria tomorrow. Not sure what else. What are your plans for this weekend?
