Where has the time gone? Baby girl Aria is now over 20 months and I’ve not written an update about her, how much of a little character she is and how big and clever she has become. I wish she’d slow down a bit. I’ve been beating myself up about it and feeling like I’ve failed her and my blog, so I’m updating it now. I have really struggled since having Aria and had really bad anxiety, that I feel like I can’t breathe all of the time. That’s another blog post for another time. Since being back at work, pretty much full time hours, three kids and life in general I feel like I am constantly chasing my tail. Tell me I am not the only one? Any I digress to talking about myself, when I should be talking about this little princess. Look how big and cute she’s grown.
Aria didn’t say too much until she was about 14 months and since then she’s come on leaps and bounds. Recently putting two words together like, toy fell. She can say her brothers names, Tyler fine and says Lucas as Cucus which is very cute. Lucas always plays football and she says Cucus stop it, stop it as we say that to him about playing football in the living room. She loves animals, but not up close. She’s very wary of them. But loves to watch them from afar and can say the sound of each one and pick them out in her book. She has a very cute oink oink for a piggy.
Look at those bunches?
Her hair is so beautiful and everyone comments on it, it’s still very fine and a little curly at the ends. I am not entirely sure where she got the red hair from, but my Uncle David and my Uncle Robert who are my dad’s brothers have red hair.So I have a brunette, blond and a red head and both Robert and I have brown hair. All very cute.
Her first birthday came and went and wasn’t as special as we hoped as we all caught a bug. But we’ll make up for it for her second birthday. She loves birthday cake and singing happy birthday.
Little miss has become quite the artist and loves to sit on her trip trapp and draw away with pencils and crayons at every opportunity. She is not to bad if I don’t say so myself.
Aria has become quite the little explorer and will find her way to doing whatever she wants to do and get too. She can climb, slide and walk up and down the stairs quite happily. She’s very steady on her feet and runs and jumps around the place. Aria is also liking music and some tv shows now. She dances along to the music
She is such a smiley girl and very laid back, however she is loud. She’s louder than the boys and you know when she’s about. I guess you have to be with two big brothers. They however, adore her. They love her so much and kiss her, cuddle her, make sure she’s ok and play with her. They are such sweet natured boys, there has never been any jealousy there, only love. They tell her she is beautiful and cute every day. She makes our family complete.
Aria loves to play peekaboo and make you smile. She lights up the whole room with her smile and melts our hearts. She’s a very girly girl and loves to play with her baby dolls and little figures, putting them on chairs and sitting them in a circle. She loves her buggy and teddies. Princess Sofia is her favourite at the minute. Sleeping wise, she’s not bad, she isn’t great on days I’ve been working. I think she likes to wake up in the middle of the night to spend some time with me, which yes is very lovely in theory, but not for 5 hours when you have work, etc in the morning.
Her favourite word for everything just now is stinky. Thanks Tyler for that one. And when she is told she’s not getting that or no, she say Aww and pouts a wee pout face on. She’s trying to wrap the world around her little fingers and half way there. Funny words are blo blo for strawberries and pumpikins for pumpkins, peep peep button for belly button, honk honk for nose, there are so many to take note of I think I’ll make a list.
Aria is a delight. Yes she’s loud, but she’s so sweet, smiley and loving. She makes our family whole and the boys adore her as she does them. She’s such a mummy’s girl which I love, but she’s at the clinging to the leg stage and it’s only mummy that can put her to bed. It’s sweet and I know it doesn’t last long. I can’t believe how much she’s grown and developed in such a short space of time. Her smile seems to cheer everyone else up and I love that about her.
I had to include this picture as it really does sum up her personality and fiery hair and gorgeous blue eyes. Aria and her favourite Bonikka doll.
We love you baby girl. Until next time.
