This week’s Gallery Prompt at from the lovely Tara over at Sticky Fingers is Frightful. For this week’s prompt I’ve decided to show my Gingerbread Halloween House I created as part of the Gingerbread house challenge with Helen. Our plan is to create gingerbread houses for each holiday season in preparation for the big on at Christmas. Please do join in. Here are my other ones if you want a look. Valentines and Easter,
I made the gingerbread myself and designed the template for the house by cutting it out first on paper. I used chocolate cake covering to glue it together, cooking chocolate for the roof, royal icing for the decoration, along with some plastic spiders, gummy ghosts, chocolate Halloween creatures, I made gingerbread headstones and I love my little witch. This is the Halloween house from all angles in the day light.
Here it is at night-time and all aglow.
What do you think?
It’s not the best gingerbread house I’ve seen but I think it looks pretty scary to me.
It’s not too late to join in the challenge, the linky is open for a while yet. We’d love to see your creations and why not have a look at others in the links below. They are all fantastic.
