The boys have been watching Mike the Knight on cbeebies for a while now and they love it. I think it's really good myself, it's one of the few children's shows I don't mind watching. It is always great news when a show your children like comes out with a range of toys. If your children are anything like mine they will love playing with the characters they are familiar with.
When we were sent through a Mike the Knight toy the boys were over the moon. We were sent the Deluxe Glendragon Playset. This consists of a stable area for his trusty horse Galahad to eat some hair and a blanket for him to sleep in. There is a mirror to for Mike to see how he is looking, a fun trap door which contains hidden treasure, a set of stairs for Mike to climb up to his bed room, where he can sleep soundly in his bed which has a canopy over it, but he doesn't have to go back down the stairs in the morning as his bed lifts up revealing a slide, he can zoom down and land straight on Galahad. The boys love the slide. Best of all they love the little treasure chest, which if opened the right way round reveals some gold coins but if opened from the back it reveals a secret compartment at the back that the boys were storing things in. Its not big but enough for them to be excited about it. Let's not forget the star of the show Mike also comes with the set and Galahad the horse.
Tyler loves Mike so much he even give him a kiss before putting him to bed.
The boys love this set and play with it again and again. They love putting Mike to bed and sliding him down the slide and onto Galahad. It's a lot of fun and everything you need is within the one playset. I would recommend this toy for any Mike the Knight fans. Lots of fun imaginative and role play to be had with this playset.
Other sets available are Glendragon Arena for Mike jousting competitions, Hairy Harry's Horse Stops for Mike to take Galahad to and the Viking Boat with unique multi-oar rowing action. All of which looks like fun.
