100 Word Count Challenge - Week 32

I missed last week's prompt, I really am swamped with everything just now, need to get back to it. But I'm back for now and long may it continue!! Here is the twenty-eighth post of the 100 WC for Grown ups. It is a weekly challenge for all those writers who want to extend their audience to get feedback on their work.

This is this week's prompt is ...Take a leap of faith... Participants are not obliged to include the words in their piece. To be done in 100 words.

Here is my take on the prompt:-

A few years ago, I met a man. A handsome, kind man, and one I thought had a gentle heart. We met a few times, had a few drinks and talked. Mainly talked about me; I’m a witch and only found out a few months prior, so it was at the forefront of my mind.

He listened and he didn't seem put off. However, I noticed he never talked about himself.

One night I asked him. He wasn't sure, but I’m glad he took that leap of faith and told me he was a vampire. We’ve been together ever since.

Check out the other entries for the 100 WC and if you get a chance why not check out the children's version of the 100 Word Count Challenge, there are some fantastic pieces on there.
