Tots100 Book Blogger - My Book Choice

I have read a lot of books in my life, however, there is one book which stay with me forever and that book is The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom. Not only was the book itself thought provoking, I was also given this book by a very special person to me, who, much to my sadness is no longer with us.

This book is about a man called Eddie, who feels like he has lived his life from birth to death and did nothing important with it. When he dies he gets to meet five people who's lives he touched without him even realising. Speaking to them he finds out the effect he had on their lives and the lives of others around him.

I wouldn't normally go for a book like this, but since I was given it I thought I'd give it a go and I am so pleased I did. At the end of it, I considered how my own life affects others around me and that I do make a difference. There are times when I am down and feel like I don't matter to anyone or anything, then I remember this book and we do matter. We matter to so many people no just our loved ones but to strangers, acquaintances and so many others we touch. Life is never meaningless.

I would like to pass this book onto Jenny from MummyMishaps. I hope she enjoys it as much as I do and finds out how many people's hearts you touch in your life without realising it. Mine included.

Some info about the book club:-

The Tots100 Book Club is where bloggers share their favourite stories. Every month, the Tots100 invites 10 bloggers to tell us about stories that have moved and inspired them – and to share their favourite books with another blogger. Each month, we’ll be publishing a round-up of the Book Club’s recommendations over on the Tots100 site, meaning you need never be short of great reading inspiration again!
