100 Word Count Challenge for Grown ups - Week 12

Here is the twelfth week of the 100 WC for Grown ups. It is a weekly challenge for all those writers who want to extend their audience to get feedback on their work.

This is this week's prompt is '... Euro meltdown fear...' written in a journalistic style. I have never written anything in that format before so let's see how it goes.

Here is my 100 words on for this prompt:-

Blood, guts, bodies and hair strewn about the tracks in, Euro Meltdown fear.
The Channel tunnel was yesterday closed after a train carrying more than 250 passengers was stopped by an unknown source.
When Eurotunnel engineers reached the train, after failing to gain contact with the two drivers, a gruesome scene met them. Not unlike a Wes Craven movie.
Three engineers were so traumatised they have been taken to Strangeways Psychiatric unit in Calle.
Mr Townie, the head engineer said; “I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s a bloody massacre.”
No official comment has been made by Eurotunnel themselves.
