Writing Workshop - Giving

This is my entry for the lovely Josie's Writing Workshop over at Sleep is for the Weak.

This week the prompt is Giving, help raise awareness of the work of anti-poverty charity ActionAid. This is my poem about giving. I hope you like it.

Giving...
To give, to help, to listen,
Can make all the difference,
Little by little it becomes bigger,
But there is always space to give.

To give, to help, to listen,
Makes you feel good,
Helps someone else,
And you become all warm and fuzzy.

To give, to help, to listen,
A child's life may be saved,
A dog may be re-homed,
A mother may get her child back.

Go on give, help or listen today.

Hope you enjoyed my poem, why not check out the rest of the entries over at Sleep is for the weak.

Making little differences that grow and grow is what it's all about. Such a nice sentiment :)
