Description:- The official Humf App is now on the App Store. Based on the top rated TV show on Nick Jr, and available for the iPhone and iPod touch, the app has been designed specifically for pre-school children to pick up and play by themselves.
The Humf App includes a fun-filled selection of 9 mini-games, with a variety of activities inspired by the hit TV show. Featuring all the original characters, music and sound effects, the app captures all the excitement from the much-loved children’s TV show.
Activities include:
- Furry Thing – Combine different body parts and create new and familiar furry things.
- Painting – Help Wallace paint amazing and colourful pictures.
- Tidy Up – Help Humf clean his room by matching the toys to their correctly coloured boxes.
- Shadows – Different shapes cast different shadows. Children can try and match them correctly.
- Balloons – Help Loon fill the balloons with air, count them then have fun popping them with Humf.
- Dot-To-Dot – Join the dots to reveal different characters from the TV show.
- Music – Children can have fun making music with different instruments.
- Bath Time – Use the water pistol to shoot bubbles at the toys.
- Racing – Control the car by tilting the device in different directions.
Review:- I love the wee furry thing that is known as humf. He is just so cute and adorable, I wish I could have him as a wee pet. Ok, I'm crazy.
My 4 year old loved this app. He is a whizz on the iPhone, he can unlock, swipe to the kids app page I created and away he goes. His favourite one was the balloons one. He found it much more fun to half blow them and let them whizz around the room. He laughed his little socks off.
Shh don't tell anyone but I have been sneaking in a wee play of it. The car racing game is excellent and I was amusing myself with the Furry Thing game where you can swap body parts, very amusing.
Even my 2 year old was tapping his way through the games, the Music game he seemed to enjoy the most.
I think this app is one of the best I have seen aimed at pre-schoolers. It's cute, funny and very easy to use. The games are varied so it keeps their attention. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a pre-schooler and an iPhone.
